Abstract

The article describes the life and activities of the head of the investigative department of the Kyiv City Police, the titular adviser and outstanding investigator ‒ Heorhii Mykhailovych Rudyi. His career path from a student and clerk’s assistant to a famous detective and crime fighter is described in detail. Special attention is paid to the life of Rudyi in the city of Uman. It was in the city of Uman that Heorhii Rudyi began to fight crime. Here he received all the necessary skills and abilities that helped him achieve career growth. In Uman, the man took exams and tests for the profession of an investigator. When Heorhii Rudyi solved several high-profile detective cases in Uman, his talent was noticed and he was invited to work in Kyiv.
