Abstract

This article examines the impact of the 2015 migration crisis on Germany’s security system, taking into account its multidimensional social, economic, and political consequences. The study focuses on the dynamics of internal security, including rising social tensions, the activation of far-right movements, and challenges to integration policies. Special attention is given to the role of governmental and non-governmental institutions in addressing migration challenges, as well as Germany’s contribution to shaping EU-wide migration policies. The study utilizes statistical data, reports from European agencies, scholarly publications, and legal frameworks, enabling the systematization of key aspects of the issue and offering potential solutions.

Furthermore, the article explores the broader geopolitical ramifications of the migration crisis, analyzing how Germany’s policies influenced intra-European relations and the EU’s stance on asylum regulations. It assesses the effectiveness of legislative responses, the impact of border security measures, and the role of public perception in shaping migration discourse. The research also considers the economic dimensions of the crisis, including labor market integration, state expenditure on social support systems, and demographic shifts that may have long-term implications for Germany’s development.

The research findings highlight the importance of international cooperation in mitigating the risks associated with migration flows and strengthening the European Union’s security framework as a whole. The author concludes that the 2015 migration crisis not only posed challenges but also acted as a stimulus for transforming approaches to migration management, refugee integration, and ensuring stability amidst global changes. By examining both the immediate and long-term effects of the crisis, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of migration governance and its implications for national and regional security in an era of increasing global mobility.
